The Football Fan Spot:
Last week: 4 (+0)
The Eagles have gotten killed with turnovers in their first 3 games, with a league worst -6 turnover ratio. However, that tends to even out on a week to week basis. This is still one of the most talented teams in the league and they rank 4th in the league in yards per play differential. I expect them to eventually get their act together and finish as one of the best teams in the league, though I think Michael Vick is going to be a limiting factor come playoff team. This week, they have a big game against the Giants, one I expect them to win.
LG Evan Mathis: Allowed 1 quarterback hurry on 46 pass block snaps, run blocked for 28 yards on 3 attempts
RG Danny Watkins: Did not allow a pressure on 46 pass block snaps, run blocked for 14 yards on 3 attempts
CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: Allowed 1 catch for 6 yards on 3 attempts, 1 pass deflection, 4 solo tackles, 2 stops
LE Jason Babin: 2 sacks, 1 quarterback hit, and 1 quarterback hurry on 21 pass rus...

With Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers in the rearview and Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin of the Philadelphia Eagles on deck, we're turning the page around here…moving on from last week's feel-good victory and looking at what should be a tough game on the road for the Giants.
Despite how bad Philly looked last week getting spanked by the Arizona Cardinals...
As I said in my last article, the Eagles put on their worst performance in recent memory on Sunday afternoon when they got torn apart by the Arizona Cardinals. With a final score of 27-6, there were many questions that need answering, but perhaps no bigger than the performance of quarterback Michael Vick and if it will effect his role as the No. 1 quarterback. When asked about a...
Michael Vick may have 32-year old legs and his coaches are telling him to resist scampering down the field at the first white of a defensive lineman's eyes. But that doesn't mean the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback still can't run.
The Eagles' scrambler has a warning for anyone who thinks his best days as an athlete are behind him and he can't make a big play...
With electric Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick struggling badly with turnovers, insatiable critics and myopic fans continue urging head coach Andy Reid to hand the ball to unproven rookie Nick Foles. The 6-foot, 215 pound Vick, who has thrown 114 … Continue reading →
LeSean McCoy and Osi Umenyiora have hurled so much trash talk back and forth over the past two seasons that it’s gotten to the point where people wonder if they are joking. Are these two actually best friends who are just toying with all of us and laughing every time we write something about their feud? If that’s the case, they are doing a terrific job of acting.
In an E:60 special...
The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday evening in what is sure to be the game of the week. With a three-way tie for first place in the NFC East, neither team will go down easy. The Eagles are coming off of a disheartening loss to the now 3-0 Arizona Cardinals, while the Giants are coming off of a huge blowout against the Carolina...
The war of words between Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy and New York Giants DE Osi Umenyiora just won’t quit. McCoy called Umenyiora “a ballerina in a Giants uniform” on ESPN’s E:60 Tuesday night after Umenyiora sent this tweet in early May to McCoy: “Happy Mothers Day Lesean Mccoy! Enjoy your special day!!” “Yeah this is for real — like I don’t like Osi,”...
Earlier today, the Philadelphia Eagles released punter Chas Henry. In accordance to this move the Eagles also re-signed punter Mat McBriar, who had played the preseason in Philadelphia.
In 19 games with the Eagles, Henry has punted the ball 82 times but the longest punt that he has ever had went for 62 yards. McBriar, who is only 33 years old, played 2 less games than Henry and...
