The great BDawk getting the crowd fired up on his entrance…Photo: Michael Perez, AP Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles escaped with their third victory of the season on Sunday night, 19-17, over the New York Giants.  The win improves the Eagles to 3-1 on the year and drops the Giants to 2-2. For an Eagles/Giants game, this one wasn’t as exciting as they usually are.  Yes, it came down to the wire on a final field goal attempt by the Giants to try and win it, but the game didn’t really have the signature big-plays that usually define the rivalry of recent years. The game was more about the defense playing well and being efficient on offense. However, on a night when the Eagles honored the great Brian Dawkins, it was good to see a well-balanced game and of course, get the win. On to the awards… Though there weren’t many big plays or otherwise attention-grabbing moments, there were some things that deserve props, or “Way To Go guys!” (WTG!) - Michael Vick.  His stats weren’t astound

Michael Vick disagrees with decision to ice kicker

The Eagles gave the Giants a second chance to win “Sunday Night Football” when they called timeout prior to Lawrence Tynes’ first field goal attempt in the final minute of the game — a kick that he missed. Luckily for them, Tynes also missed his second field goal after being given a shot at redemption, allowing the Eagles to win the game 19-17. After the contest, Eagles quarterback...

Giants Must Hit Michael Vick Early and Often

Last Sept., Michael Vick suffered a broken hand against the Giants and was very critical of the refs after the game.  When reminded of that, Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul foreshadowed what is to come in the Sunday night game this weekend. Pierre Paul couldn’t keep a straight face when speaking to reporters on Friday saying:  “”Yeah? We’ll give him (Vick) some more...

Michael Vick has a knee contusion

LeSean McCoy Helped Michael Vick & His Eagles Steal One From The Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Giants to get their 3rd win of the year and it wasn’t easy at all. The game was one those the Eagles had to chisel each yard out of. The Giants defense had their hands full trying to stop LeSean McCoy. McCoy rushed for 123 yards in 23 carries, he was there when Vick needed him and he is a big reason the Eagles were able to hold on to get...

Michael Vick Not a Big Fan of Icing Kickers, Thinks It's Time to 'End That Tradition'

Go ahead and exhale, Andy Reid. You didn't cost the Eagles the game after all. Reid nearly became a big time goat on Sunday night after he called a timeout just before Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes attempted a 54-yard field goal in the closing seconds. Generally, icing the kicker like that wouldn't be that big of a deal, but Tynes missed the lengthy first attempt, meaning...

But this is still Philadelphia. All is not well. Yes, the Eagles are 3-1 and hold a one game...
