I thought it was casual Juan…
With the news of Darren Sproles having surgery and possibly being out for 4-6 weeks with a broken hand will give the multidimensional Thomas a much bigger role in the offense. He has to be considered a top 20 guy now, especially in PPR leagues. Lance Moore should also benefit from additional targets that will be left behind. Moore came up big when Reggie Bush went down and will be in a similar situation here.

Darren Sproles has a broken left hand and there is some optimism that he may not actually miss 4 weeks. The break is up near the wrist and that area apparently is less prone to reinjury than the more delicate portion of bones closer to the fingers.

Just when things couldn’t get any worse for the struggling New Orleans Saints, it did yesterday as the team announced that RB Darren Sproles would not suit up Monday Night vs. the Eagles with a broken hand that required surgery.
The surgery was low-key, and announced after it was already complete, but the team didn’t announce how long Sproles would be sidelined.
The New Orleans Saints are going through a pretty rough year, already at a 2-5 record and getting themselves pummeled against the Denver Broncos on Sunday night last week. Playing on another primetime game on Monday night, the Saints could be in for another tough one against the Philadelphia Eagles.
However, things may have gotten just worse for them. as one of their biggest...

Love my alma mater Juan…
LaMichael James was drafted to be a Darren Sproles-type in the 49er offense, but it just hasn’t happened yet with the play of Gore/Hunter. I envision him playing a bigger role in the upcoming seasons when Gore is no longer with the team and Hunter resumes the starting role.

I guess when you are a star RB in the NFL you can show up anywhere in your pajamas and no one will really give a sh*t. CJ is the leading rusher in the NFL over the past 4 games, but hits a buzzsaw with Bears and Dolphins in the next 2 weeks. Let’s see if he can keep it going or go back to the guy that made his owners pull their hair...
