PHILADELPHIA - The first one goes to Cowboys CB Terence Newman, who completely took DeSean Jackson out of the game.
Jackson had only two catches for 29 yards after entering the game with four TD receptions of 50-plus yards. In a performance reminiscent of his shut-down job on Carolina's Steve Smith in Week 3, Newman made four tackles and broke up one pass. He did give up an 18-yard reception to Jeremy Maclin, but, for the most part, he blanketed everyone he went up against.
Also worthy of game balls were:
* Tony Romo: Sure he threw an interception and missed a wide-open Jason Witten in the end zone forcing Dallas to settle for a field goal just before halftime, but he made the plays when it counted. He found a wide-open Miles Austin for the game winner and hit Witten on third down when the Cowboys were running out the clock.
* Austin: With only one catch for 49 yards, he didn't even come close to approaching the 160-yard average for his first three starts. But, hey, nob...
