With each passing year, no pun intended, the National Football League becomes more and more of a quarterback-driven league. The day and age of teams running the football 40 times per game are a thing of the past, replaced by an era in which quarterbacks throwing 50 passes across four quarters of play is commonplace. Thus, having the right guy under center is more important now than ever. Simply put, a team can’t contend if they don’t have a good quarterback. And with rare exception, they can’t win a title unless they have a great quarterback. So which teams are in the best shape, and which ones are in a world of hurt, when it comes to having the right person in this vital position? The editors at cover32 provide their rankings of NFL quarterbacks, based on who would be the starter if the season got going today. To see where Mike Glennon checks in (it’s not pretty), click here. Bucs should be favorites to land Sammy Watkins

Here at TBC, mock drafts are looked at for entertainment values. While some get questioned on their theories others are viewed as “reasonable.” But what they all do is drive people nuts since they are changed so often.  That is why you won’t find any mocks on TBC until after the combine and free agency because that is when it makes more sense on the direction a team will go...

Bucs' secondary improved in 2013, but have talent to do more

TAMPA, Fla. -- The secondary was good, but it could be better. Last season, there were some decent developments among the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' safeties and cornerbacks.
