Ignoring the alliteration of the title of this article, we were approached this week, as sometimes happens, by Bloguin's own Bills blogger, "Joe," for a Q&A. So, we exchanged some questions, and the following is his answers. You can find my answers to his thought provoking questions here. Enjoy. TJ: Chan Gailey seems to be on the hot seat. Do you see him returning next season?   Joe: It is really up in the air at this point. The Bills have never been an organization to have a short leash on coaches when they fail..constantly. Dick Jauron was the last coach and he survived three straight years of 7-9 seasons to go along with a fan base that wanted his head on a platter. If the Bills lose out, I can't see how they'd let him come back. To this point, he's 14-29 as as a head coach. However, if they finish 7-9 or 8-8 -which is very possible because they have an easy schedule- I think he comes back. Should he come back? No. He is too arrogant as a...

Tarvaris Jackson not a happy camper in Buffalo

Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson now languishes in Buffalo, twiddling his thumbs as he thinks of happier times. He was Seattle's starting QB just last year. Then they unceremoniously dumped him to the curb when they drafted Russel Wilson and picked up free agent Matt Flynn. “It’s been a different season for me,” Jackson told Sal Maiorana of the Democrat...

Super Mario finally finds his game in Buffalo

(Eds: Updates. With AP Photos.) By NICK MENDOLA Associated Press After a slow start to his career in Buffalo, Super Mario has found the next level. Too bad for the Bills and their fans, it's a little late for a realistic postseason push. Either way, the high-priced defensive end is starting to give Buffalo a bit of a return on its offseason investment. The Bills have slipped...

Donald Jones Questionable vs. Jaguars

Bills receiver Donald Jones is questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville with a calf injury.Fantasy Spin:Jones has just 30 yards in receiving over the past two games and remains a risky desperation play.

The Buffalo Bills piss me off!!

Yeah, I’m not sure why they cut your BFF either, Rian. For the first time in almost three full seasons, I’m missing a game on Sunday. I’ve got a nasty sinus infection and frankly, even if I’m in tip-top shape by the time Sunday morning rolls around I don’t feel like sitting around in the rain for half the day watching those assholes frustrate me even more. If the team...

Field Goals: Draft talk, Lindell on his last leg and rookies shining

When blacked out Bills games roll around it becomes very difficult to stay vested in their success. Considering that Sunday’s game along with the St. Louis and Jets games are likely to be blacked out, I’m pretty sure my Sundays are going to be free. If you plan on using the super-secret internet feed, good for you. If you plan on enjoying a Sunday with intermittent radio...

Jacksonville Jaguars at Buffalo Bills point spread, line and preview

The Jacksonville Jaguars will play against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Neither team is in the playoff hunt but both are already experimenting for next season. Jacksonville seems to have resigned from seeing Blaine Gabbard (injured, demoted) as a cornerstone of their future. They will continue to play Chad Henne the rest of the way as they attempt to see if...

Bills vs. Colts: The future of FitzGailey

What job is the most repetitive, boring, and mundane of all jobs? Well in my short time on this earth I haven’t had many, but I have watched enough Buffalo Bills football to notice that the rhetoric for writers and broadcasters covering the team hasn’t changed for over a decade. The job of a Bills reporter is walk into One Bills Drive and report to the masses the intense...

Jacksonville Jaguars at Buffalo Bills: Week 13 NFL Pick

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9) at Buffalo Bills (4-7) One of the most powerful trends in betting is known as the six and six trend, meaning teams who finished with 6 wins or fewer are 23-64 ATS as favorites of 6 or more since 2002. There are two issues with this trend. One, it’s very rare (it only happened 4 times all last season, going 0-4 ATS). Two, it’s even rarer that a situation...

Chan Gailey's Ego is killing Buffalo

"You can win the World Series without Babe Ruth.'' On a few occasions, Chan Gailey would tell his coaches this before the Bills hired him as coach. Now, you could view it as being a way to say we can get a team full of good players and win without a star player. It is a team game, right? Standard coach speaking. However, after about two and half seasons worth of...
