Ryan Fitzpatrick of the Buffalo Bills passing against the New York Jets. (Photo credit: Wikipedia) Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had an up and down season last year. Fitzpatrick is a pretty good QB overall, but one of the main concerns is the number of interceptions he throws.  Although Ryan threw for 3,832 yards and 24 touchdowns last season, the huge problem is that he had 23 interceptions.  His completion percentage was good last season though, sitting at 62 per cent.  Ryan Fitzpatrick had a very up and down season as I mentioned before.  He had some very good games, but also some poor performances as well.  Some of his disappointing games include facing the New England Patriots where he threw four interceptions against the Miami Dolphins, where he was picked off three times.  He often just fails under pressure and does not play well.  When he received a huge contract, he did not play up to his expectations, but as I said before, once in a while, he does have very good games.  We will see how he performs this upcoming season, trying to lead the Buffalo Bills to the play-offs. In my opinion, I think Ryan Fitzpatrick will slightly improve this season.  The Bills are in an extremely tough division with the Patriots, Jets, and Dolphins though.  I see the Buffalo Bills going 8-8 but failing to reach the play-offs.  I think the Bills will improve as a team this upcoming season though.

Bills QB Fitzpatrick earns respect of teammates

Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is the first to acknowledge he still faces questions about his consistency and mechanics. The rest of the qualities it takes to play the position - poise, toughness, respect and confidence - the Buffalo Bills starter has down pat, his teammates say. From the ability to take a big hit and play hurt, as he did overcoming a severe chest injury...

Bills LB Sheppard sidelined by 'medical issue'

Buffalo Bills starting middle linebacker Kelvin Sheppard missed practice due to what coach Chan Gailey would only call a medical issue. Without revealing what the issue is, Gailey on Wednesday said he expects Sheppard to miss a couple of days of training camp. Sheppard watched the team's night practice from the sideline. Starting defensive tackle Marcell Dareus was held out...

Former New York Jets Safety Jim Leonhard Visits Buffalo Bills

Free agent safety Jim Leonhard might be staying in the AFC East, as the former New York Jets fan favorite visited the Buffalo Bills today. Jim Leonhard suffered his second major injury in two seasons against the Kansas City Chiefs last year, essentially ending his Jets career. Jim Leonhard was an unsung hero on the team, the quarterback of the defense and a tough, yet undersized...

Bills RBs Jackson, Spiller willing to share load

The Buffalo Bills have two capable running backs in Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, and yet only one ball to go around. For coach Chan Gailey, that's not a bad problem to have. With a desire to get the most out of the two, Gailey's already cautioned Jackson and Spiller to limit their expectations regarding playing time and production because he intends for them to share...

The move was made Wednesday morning after the team also announced running back Chris Douglas had been waived/injured. Douglas, also an undrafted rookie, was hurt in practice Tuesday. Brown is listed at 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds. He completed his college career at Pittsburgh...

Buffalo Linebacker Kelvin Sheppard Sidelined

As the Bills training camp progresses, there have been heartening signs all over the field, especially as many of the walking wounded are returning to full health. Oft-sidelined center Eric Wood, who has been limited to individual drills during his slow, careful road to recovery, was finally taking snaps with the first team. Yes, he only took two, but it’s still a sign things...

Ryan Fitzpatrick must prove his worth

Remember when your older brother used to pick on you and beat you in just about everything? Then you would say “just wait til I get older”? That has been the relationship between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots for the last decade. But guess what Boston fans, little brother has gotten a little older. The Bills are facing their highest expectations in years, and...

Free agent S Leonhard continues visit with Bills

Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix says free agent safety Jim Leonhard is visiting with the team for a second day and has taken his physical. Leonhard arrived at Bills training camp Thursday and watched practice from the sideline...

2012 NFL Preview: AFC Training Camp Battles

Hard to believe, but with training camps having begun and August already here, the 2012 NFL season is mercifully at our doorstep. That means fewer ‘Stephen Strasburg is going to get shut down’ stories and more ‘HOLY CRAP, TIM TEBOW IS SHIRTLESS IN THE RAIN!!!’ stories. Thank. God.   Even better, the 2012 NFL pre-season arrives with no lockout-related...
