QB Joe Burrow: Bengals have put loss to Jets 'behind us'

The Cincinnati Bengals trounced the Baltimore Ravens 41-17 back on Oct. 24 to improve to 5-2 on the season but then suffered a shocking 34-31 loss to the New York Jets this past Sunday during which Gang Green backup quarterback Mike White become a local sensation as he completed 37-of-45 passes for 405 yards with three touchdowns.

As Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk noted, Cincinnati signal-caller Joe Burrow told reporters Wednesday his club is moving on and concentrating on this coming Sunday's pivotal divisional showdown against the 4-4 Cleveland Browns.

"We put that one behind us," Burrow said of the loss to the Jets. "It happened. We talked about the mistakes and everything we need to fix and now we’re on to this week."

Burrow continued:

"Every division game feels a little different. I think fans are a little more juiced up for division games. I think the city and I think players come out and play hard no matter what, but there’s a different intensity to division games."

Cincinnati already has road AFC North wins over Baltimore and the Pittsburgh Steelers this fall, while the Browns fell to Pittsburgh at home in Week 8, have lost three of their past four contests and have star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. potentially attempting to orchestrate his exit from the organization following Tuesday's trade deadline.

In short, the Bengals could be heading into a "get-right game" on the first Sunday of November.
