Reeves Hasn't happened yet to v2.0, that's for sure, but one man may have found the answer: former Falcons head coach Dan Reeves. Who would know more about Vick's abilities and limitations than some of the men who coached him? And Reeves of all people, he of two Super Bowl championships as a running back for the Cowboys, and 201 head coaching wins in the NFL.

"I'd try to make sure he had a bad pregame meal, so he couldn't play," Reeves deadpanned.

Reeves' full quote, plus the Giants' strategy this Sunday, after the jump.

"I'd hate to defend him. It's just a nightmare. The offensive line looks so much better because guys are scared to death to get out of their lanes. And he has unbelievably strong legs, so even if you get to him, he can run through you. And the other thing is that he has one of the quickest releases I've ever seen. Honestly, no one really came up with a way to stop him during the short time I was with him."

Reeves sounds decidedly less optimistic than the Giants defense. That's probably because they have a far more realistic plan: knock Vick out of the game.

Shortly after this game gets underway, perhaps during the Eagles' second or even their first possession, prepare for a montage showing all the quarterbacks the New York defense have injured this season. That number has reached five already, including the blow that crushed Cowboys fans' hopes and dreams. Osi Umenyiora is leading the charge with eight sacks, tied for third in the NFL.

One of the keys to the game is as simple as Vick playing the entire 60 minutes. Naturally he takes more hits than the average quarterback due to his style of play, so injury is constantly a concern. Versus this unit, it seems like something he should actively try to prevent, as ridiculous as that may sound. An extra throw away, scamper out of bounds or just get down before taking a hit while running with the football.

Vick can't approach the game scared either, but he needs to be warned the defense is out for blood.
