Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris has proven to be a hot commodity after being fired by his former club last week. By the middle of last week Morris was seen dining with top management of the Washington Redskins, and now has emerged as the leader to become the new defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings. On Twitter this morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Morris is the leader in the Vikings search for a coordinator. “Anymore word on vikes D coordinator search? Leader in clubhouse is Raheem Morris”, Schefter tweeted. Morris had held the  position of secondary coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to being named the team’s defensive coordinator when it was announced that then-coordinator Monte Kiffin would be leaving the Buccaneers in order to join his son at the University of Tennessee.
