According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the Raiders have agreed to bring back defensive end Andre Carter on a one-year deal. Carter, 33, had 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble in 12 games for the Raiders in 2012 before he was lost for the year due to a torn quadriceps. Carter, a Bay Area native and Cal alum, is a 12-year vet and has 78.5 career sacks. He was named to his only Pro Bowl in 2011, when he had 10 sacks for the Patriots. He played his first five seasons with the 49ers. Carter will be part of a defensive line unit that led by Lamarr Houston, Jason Hunter and newcomers Pat Sims and Vance Walker. The Raiders on Tuesday also announced it signed cornerback Mike Jenkins and safety Usama Young. [via CSNBA, SF Gate]

Bleacher Report NFL Network contacted Test Football Academy, who have been running Russell’s comeback attempt, to see if they could film his scheduled pro day.  They were then told that the pro day wouldn’t be happening on Wednesday as scheduled. It’s fair to assume that perhaps Russell’s camp felt that maybe there wouldn’t be very many teams attending his pro day.  Test...

NFL LB Rolando McClain Blames The Devil For His Off The Field Issues

But, here is how linebacker Rolando McClain explained his multiple off the field issues, while he was with the Raiders. “As a kid and young adult you make mistakes and I have made...
