Found November 28, 2013 on Diehardsport:
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams fumbled the opening kickoff and it was scooped by Oakland Raiders wide receiver Greg Jenkins and returned for a touchdown.  The play was reviewed but there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn the call on the field.  Jenkins was signed by the Raiders this week and is making the Raiders look pretty smart for doing so. Cowboys fan beaten unconscious by several Raiders fans after Thursday melee

A Dallas Cowboys fan was beaten by Oakland Raiders fans following the Thanksgiving Day game, according to the Arlington Police Department. The police are still looking for witnesses to the incident and have not released the victim’s name. Tiara Richard, a police spokesperson, said Friday the injuries are not life threatening, but several people who were close to the […]

Tony Romo once again shows he is worth the paycheck; Fights sickness to get the win for Dallas

Romo completed 23 of 32 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys’ 31-24 win against the Oakland Raiders on Thursday. He needed a series of intravenous fluids after he became ill Wednesday night at the team hotel. “This is the NFL,” Romo said. “You play through anything. Guys played through a lot worse than what I […]

With his receivers healthy and facing Oakland traveling on a short week, Tony Romo is a top 5 QB (Week 13 Fantasy Ranks)

It is ugly at the top of the QB ranks. From a matchup standpoint, there isn’t a QB I would typically rank in my weekly top 12 facing a defense in the 8 most generous in the league. The first is Romo at 9 against Oakland and that’s why you see him coming in at number four this week. If you count Scott Tolzein and Matt Flynn as some kind of terrifying, back-up QB Frankenstein the...

Cowboys fan was beaten by Raiders fans at Jerry World

According to Calvin Watkins of,  a   Dallas Cowboys fan was beaten by some Raiders fans at AT&T Stadium during Thursday’s game. The good news is that the victim didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries. The police are still looking for witnesses to the incident and have not released the victim’s name. Tiara Richard...

Cowboys RB Dunbar (knee) out for season

Dallas Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar is expected to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury sustained in a Thanksgiving win over Oakland. The Cowboys reported on their website Friday that Dunbar will have surgery for an injury to the joint in his left knee. Dunbar got hurt Thursday after rushing for a career-high 82 yards. Starter DeMarco Murray ran for three touchdowns...

Oakland Raiders at Dallas Cowboys: 2013 Week 13 NFL Pick

Oakland Raiders (4-7) at Dallas Cowboys (6-5) I’m completely split on this one. On one hand, non-divisional home favorites dominate on Thursdays, going 30-14 ATS since 1989. This makes sense. Playing on a short week is rough, but it’s even rougher when you have to travel on a short week. That cuts into valuable preparation time. However, if you are the better team on the road...

Rashad Jennings runs over camera man, camera man yells “oh f**k”

Oakland Raiders runningback Rashad Jennings got shoved out of bounds at the end of a run and absolutely smoked a camera man.  When CBS went to show the replay, the forgot to check the audio and you can audibly hear the camera man yelling “oh f**k.”  I give credit to the camera man for being tough and getting up afterwards, I know there are a lot of people that would not have...

Raiders release former draft pick Tyler Wilson AGAIN

Today the Oakland Raiders released Tyler Wilson their former 4th round pick again.  Wilson has not had the best of luck in the NFL, and could be a person of interest by several teams, but I highly doubt it. If Wilson does clear waivers he will likely be signed back to the Raiders practice squad. […]

Cowboys WR Dez Bryant: My ball security has been fine

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday morning that Dez Bryant needs to do a better job of protecting the football. Later in the day, Bryant said his fourth-quarter fumble was more about the weather than his individual technique. “I think my ball security, in my honest opinion has been fine,” Bryant said. “It was just that kind of a game to where you have to be a little...

Dallas Cowboys Survive and Advance

The Dallas Cowboys aren't the type of team that can afford to win any style points; the only important thing the Cowboys need to do is win. That has been the case all season long and it certainly was the case yesterday as Dallas beat the Oakland Raiders as fans were hopefully enjoying their Thanksgiving.Luckily in the NFL, they don't ask how you win, they only count the times...

Week 13 Fantasy Football Thanksgiving Day Injury Report: Darren McFadden

The Skinny: Oakland Raiders starting RB Darren McFadden is scheduled to make his return to the field on Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys, his first game action since November 3rd. McFadden has been out with a moderate hamstring strain. McFadden was able to participate in light practice on both Tuesday and Wednesday in preparation for this week’s game. The Injury: This came...

Jared Veldheer activated by Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders have made it this far with a patchwork offensive line that's done its best to protect both Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin this season. The return of Jared Veldheer will help. The underrated left tackle was activated off short-term injured reserve Wednesday after partially tearing his triceps in August, the team announced. In a corresponding move, the Raiders...

Mike Francesa can't pronounce 'Matt McGloin' (AUDIO)

More times than not, Mike Francesa's Long Island accent lends a comical quality to his pronunciation of names and places. But during his WFAN broadcast Tuesday, A-Rod's number one fan was discussing the Raiders' quarterback situation and, on two separate occasions, stumbles on Matt McGloin's name and hilariously rambles over it.McGlophin, McLoutin or McGlockin ...
