ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that free agent QB Seneca Wallace will travel to Oakland for a visit with the Raiders after meeting with the Seahawks on Monday.
Wallace is in consideration for the Seahawks backup quarterback job, but it appears as though the competition is really between Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn, although Tyler Thigpen has a shot at the job as well.
Wallace, 32, was out of the league last season, so it would be at least somewhat surprising to see someone commit to him being their backup quarterback at this point in time. The draft has plenty of developmental options that could turn out to be reasonable investments, so it would make sense to see the Raiders hold off on adding another quarterback until after the draft.
