Found August 25, 2008 on Rams Gab:
ProfootballTalk.com via the St. Louis Post Dispatch is reporting that the Rams have brought in LeCharles Bentley for a visit and physical. With a few injuries along the Rams Offensive Line already, the Rams are thin at guard and center. Bentley plays both guard and center, but has missed the last two years with two different injuries. One of his years was lost due to a staph infection. (gross!) I've advocated for this signing before, and it makes me very happy to see it become closer to fruition. Rarely do you talk about upside when talking about an offensive lineman, but Bentley has it. He has the potential to be an All-Pro offensive lineman at guard or center. At worst, he is a one-year wasted investment that doesn't make it into a game. Bentley would add quality depth, versatility and potential to the Rams offensive line. Let's do it.
