The move ends Gay's season. The 28-year old Gay, who has been used as a nickel back in New Orleans, suffered the concussion in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers. "When his symptoms came back ... they were pretty significant," Saints coach Sean Payton said. Payton said he did not consider the concussion to the former LSU star to be a career-ending injury.
