The Joe Flacco-to-Torrey Smith touchdown turned out to be the deciding score in the Ravens’ 25-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Baltimore’s victory was their 10th consecutive win over Cleveland, which is the longest active streak against one opponent in the NFL. It was also Baltimore’s 11th straight win over an AFC North opponent.
Baltimore discovered the running game with Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce, who both got in the end zone. That aided in their big early lead and helped secure the win late.
The defense played better. Ed Reed and Cary Williams each had an interception. Baltimore’s defense still couldn’t get to the quarterback earning only one sack.
The Ravens return home next Sunday to take on the Oakland Raiders.
