Ray Lewis was not supposed to come back this year. He tore his triceps in Week 6 against the Cowboys, and John Harbaugh referred to that as a season ending injury. That coupled with the other season ending injury to Ladarius Webb, the Ravens best corner, and it was thought that the Ravens season could be heading in a bad direction.Unfortunately for Patriots fans, that didn't happen. The Ravens only lost once, to the Houston Texans, and now it seems that Harbaugh spoke too soon on Lewis.ESPN:Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, sidelined with a torn triceps, is expected to return Dec. 16 to face Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, a team source told ESPN Friday.Lewis, who is on the injured reserve/designated to return list, is eligible to return to the lineup that day. He was eligible to begin practicing Thursday, but did not.Of course, the Ravens aren't getting 2001 Ray Lewis back, but it's still Ray Lewis. For Patriots purposed, the Ravens need to start losing games...

The Ravens need to take advantage of a down Steelers team this week. Week 13 preview.

If the Ravens don't win this week and win big, their hope of a Super Bowl run is over.  They need to make a statement this week. After an average Thanksgiving week of picks I'm sitting at 114-63.  I need to step my game up as we sprint to the postseason. Jacksonville at Buffalo - Chad Henne is proving that he can play QB in the NFL.  I liked him in Miami...

Ravens' Lewis could be targeting Dec. 16 return against Broncos

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis could return to action as early as Dec. 16 for a game against Denver. Lewis, who is recovering from a torn triceps on Oct. 14, was eligible to begin practicing Thursday and could be activated from injured reserve/designated to return for that game against the Broncos and quarterback Peyton Manning, ESPN.com reported. Ravens coach John Harbaugh...

John Harbaugh reportedly diffused Ravens player revolt back in October

The Baltimore Ravens may have one of the best records in football, but that doesn’t mean their season has been free of problems — both on the field and behind the scenes. In fact, just last month head coach John Harbaugh found himself having to work through a player revolt that started when several Ravens veterans did not want to practice in pads. According to Michael Silver...

Lewis might not practice this week

Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis might not return to practice this week even though he's expected back soon from a torn right triceps. Lewis underwent surgery and is on injured reserve-designated to return. He's eligible to start practicing Thursday and can't play in a game until Dec. 16 against the Denver Broncos. "Ray Lewis is here, he's rehabbing,...

Ravens Injury Report: Safety Bernard Pollard Sits Out Thursday

The Baltimore Ravens continued their practice preparations on Thursday as they get ready to host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. The Thursday injury report shows just a few minor changes for the 9-2 team. Not practicing for a second straight day for the Ravens were tight end Ed Dickson (knee), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (ankle, knee), and wide receiver Jacoby Jones (ankle)...

Prediction Saturday: Ravens go for 16th straight home win

The Ravens will meet the Steelers for the second time in three weeks. The Steelers will be without high profile players Ben Roethlisberger and LaMarr Woodley, but get back safety Troy Polamalu. Two weeks ago, the Ravens defeated Pittsburgh 13-10 at Heinz Field. I expect the same result, but a different score this time. The Ravens haven’t lost a home game since Week 13 of the 2010...

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens: Round Two Of Slugfest

This Sunday, in NFL Week 13’s late afternoon headliner, the 9-2 Baltimore Ravens have the opportunity to all but lock up first place in the AFC North division by knocking off the 6-5 Pittsburgh Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The Ravens look to cap off an undefeated three-game stretch, which has been described as the most difficult part of their schedule. They...

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens: Week 13 NFL Pick

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) at Baltimore Ravens (9-2) 2 weeks ago, the Steelers were riding high at 6-3, including a recent win over the Giants in New York and looked like they had a chance to take control of the division with a win at home against the then 7-2 Baltimore Ravens. However, Ben Roethlisberger got hurt late against Kansas City and has been unable to play in each of their...
