Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has made it clear that their offense is led by quarterback Joe Flacco.
“In pecking order, this is Joe’s offense, then everybody else,” Rice said Thursday, per the Baltimore Sun. “And he’s proven that this preseason with how he’s played, his tempo, how vocal he is, and the quiet Joe phase I think is pretty much over. He’s been outspoken – and I guess you guys get to see it more going into Year 5 – but for me and him, we came in together, and I think he’s going to prove to everybody why he’s a top quarterback in the league. And going into this game, I’m confident, he’s confident. I just can’t wait to get out there with the guys so we can go out there and show guys what he’s really capable of doing.”
Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis says Flacco has been more vocal this season.
“Joe is just more vocal because he is more loose,” inside linebacker Ray Lewis said. “I think bringing [quarterbacks coach] Jim Caldwell in here, kind

With one of the toughest first place schedules in the NFL this season, the Baltimore Ravens will have a difficult time repeating as the AFC North Champions. And with the Pittsburgh Steelers always breathing down the Ravens beaks, and an easier schedule to maneuver, the black and gold will overtake Baltimore by one game to [...]
Doesn’t matter what Ayanbadejo stance is on Gay Marriage, the Ravens don’t own him, he is free to have his own thoughts. But, you see some politicians still think of humans as property and that is a huge problem.
I am glad this is being brought to light, because it says a whole lot about this politician mindset in regard to how he sees people.
Not as individuals, but as...
Ravens offensive tackle Jah Reid remains sidelined due to a slow-to-heal strained right calf initially suffered in June when he was carted off the field.
Since that minicamp practice, Reid has aggravated the leg injury twice.
Although he wasn't placed on injured reserve, Reid still isn't able to practice.
"Yeah, it's definitely getting better," Reid said...
Getty ImagesI find it somewhat ironic that politicians love to dabble and stick their noses into the world of sports. God forbid though, and athlete whose job is only to be an athlete, decides to delve into what he or she deems political atrocities. The Big Lead is reporting that Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo is an active advocate for gay marriage.A democrat named...

Brendon Ayanbadejo is a linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens, he's a former undrafted free agent who worked hard enough to become Pro Bowler. He's publicly advocated a pro-gay marriage stance, in written form and now he's catching some heat for that stance, from a Baltimore politician.
Emmett Burns, a politician and minister (?) in Maryland, sent Ravens owner Steve...

The Ravens and the family of Art Modell will stage a silent tribute to team's former majority owner Saturday by placing his casket on the team's home field.
Modell brought the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore in 1996 and remained the majority owner through 2003. Upon arriving in Baltimore, he instantly became beloved by the city and showed his appreciation by donating millions...
All these years I have been lobbying for Art Modell to be elected to the NFL Hall of Fame before it's too late for him to experience the honor he deserved...It is now too late. Modell died of "natural causes" at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore on September 6 at the age of 87."Sadly, I can confirm that my father died peacefully of natural causes at four this...
After a delightful summer in which he carried the ball only 10 times in the preseason, Ray Rice is ready for some Monday Night football.
''It's sort of like that refreshing feeling, like the first day of school when you want to wear your new clothes,'' the Baltimore Ravens running back said. ''That's what Monday night is. You put on your best outfit...
While the consensus is that Arian Foster should be the first overall pick in fantasy football for 2012 (though some disagree), there is great debate about who should after him. The two main contenders are Ray Rice and LeSean McCoy. Two very similar backs, but when your on the clock during your fantasy football draft [...]
As one of the NFL's most consistent franchises, the Baltimore Ravens are hoping quarterback Joe Flacco and running back Ray Rice can help them make a long-awaited return to the Super Bowl.
The Cincinnati Bengals are looking to their young duo of Andy Dalton and A.J. Green to help build on last year's trip to the postseason, and the teams will begin their respective quests...
I’m no AP, but I’ll do Juan…
You don’t need me to tell you to start Arian Foster, DMC, Ray Rice, or LeSean McCoy…my mom could figure that out. Let’s look at some other matchups that could be favorable this week:
Kevin Smith vs StL
Smith is what you call the last man standing. The Jersey Leshoure is suspended and Best is on the PUP. The Rams allowed the...
