Found April 24, 2013 on Waiting For Next Year:
We’ve discussed the upcoming movie Draft Day several times on the site. We know that Kevin Costner will play the part of the Browns’ GM, and that Denis Leary is on board as the ‘new’ head coach. It seems that Texans’ running back Arian Foster will have a role in the movie as well- Doubt @arianfoster has ever been compared to Ray Allen but he has been cast in prominent role of running back in Costner movie “Draft Day” — Rich Eisen (@richeisen) April 24, 2013 It isn’t known yet if Foster will be playing a role as Cleveland’s running back or if he is just making a cameo in the film as himself. Perhaps he is playing a college star that the Browns are considering drafting? Thinking about Foster in a Cleveland Brown uniform. This movie may end up rivaling “Major League” in Cleveland when all is said and done. Of course, the Browns would have to end up winners at the end for that to happen. Eisen’s remark about Ray Allen is in reference to Allen’s role as ‘Jesus Shuttleworth’ in the movie He Got Game.

Houston Texans: Final 7 Round 2013 NFL Mock Draft

A month ago, I explained why I would only be doing a 7 round mock for the Texans and not for each team. It’s a multitude of reasons that you can read about in my original seven round mock for the Texans. But with the big event just two days away now, it’s time for me to call my shot on what I think the team will do in the 2013 NFL Draft. With eight picks and plenty of needs to...

Predicting Stars and Busts: NFL Draft Trends

When the NFL added the expansion Houston Texans to its league in 2002, it brought the number of teams up to an even 32. In the eleven drafts since then, there have been 351 first round selections. Why not an even 352? I think Bill Belichick has the answer to that question. Anyway, something interesting to note about these 351 first round draft picks is that only 122 went on to reach...
