RB Peyton Hillis had a magical 2010 season with the Cleveland Browns, finding success on and off the field while capturing the hearts of Browns fans everywhere. In 2011, Hillis found his way onto the cover of Madden 12 and his success looked like a one-hit wonder. Now it appears that the impending free agent running back won’t return to the Cleveland Browns in 2012. In 2010, Hillis rushed for 1,177 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. His success had Browns fans believing that success on the field was right around the corner. Enter the 2011 season, a contract year, and monetary issues took center stage. Hillis only appeared in 10 games during the last season, rushing for a measly 587 yards and only scoring three touchdowns. Problems started early this season for Hillis after missing a game with what was described as ‘strep throat’ and then reports surfaced later that Hillis was told to sit out the game because of stalled contract talks.
