The upcoming 2013 NFL season is set to be one of the most interesting seasons in recent history. There are new rules in place, new players on new teams, and now, new camera’s with new locations. The NFL of 2012 is long gone and has been replaced with reality television. In the past five years the NFL has undergone countless changes as far as gameplay is concerned. From dishing out fines to levying suspensions, the NFL has enacted countless policies meant to make the game safer for players. However, this is the first policy I have seen enacted with the fan experience in mind. The NFL announced this week of the new media policy that requires all teams to place cameras in their home locker rooms. Obviously this move will not require teams to broadcast private meetings but they will be required to have the cameras nonetheless with encouragement to air footage of pregame speeches during the game; to increase fan in-stadium experience.
