Miami Dolphins newly acquired receiver Mike Wallace played with one of the great quarterbacks of this era in Ben Roethlisberger, but he thinks his new QB Ryan Tannehill could be just as good. Wallace talked about the similarities between Roethlisberger and Tannehill, pointing out that his new quarterback has a slightly stronger arm than Big Ben. Coming from Pittsburgh and a lot of success, he understands what the look of a winner is and he feels being in Miami is the start of something special. He feels that Tannehill isn’t far off from becoming an elite NFL quarterback, and he’s there to help that happen. “Both have strong arms. Ryan has cannon, can really fling it,” Wallace said, via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. “Ryan may be able to throw the ball a little farther than Ben. Obviously, Ben is more experienced in game time experience. The way it’s going, it won’t take long for Ryan to be one of the great quarterbacks. I feel like we can make a lot of big plays.” “By the time we get to training camp, we’ll be fine. We throw two to three times after practice every day,” Wallace said. “I like this team. I like how everybody works. Not much talking, just grinding. That’s the way it should be. I’m one of the older guys on this team, so it’s different than being in Pittsburgh.”

Dolphins talk with Adam Schefter

I had the pleasure of doing a little Q&A session with my friend Adam Schefter. Schefter as everyone knows is the ESPN’s top insider and quite frankly the best in the bizz.    Q1) What have you been hearing around the Dolphins stadium upgrade project? Schefter: The NFL is very use to getting what it wants, it generally finds whatever solution it has to but...

College coaches say Dallas Thomas will quietly make impact with Dolphins

Quiet demeanor. Always smiling. Gentle giant. Not exactly words that come to mind when describing a person who makes his living in NFL trenches. Then again, those descriptions arent why the Miami Dolphins selected Dallas Thomas in the third round of last month's NFL Draft. General manager Jeff Ireland focused on other Thomas characteristics: athletic, hardworking, eager to...

The Miami Dolphins have secured another 2013 NFL draft pick of theirs by agreeing to a four-year, $2.322 million dollar contract with running back Mike Gillislee. A warrant has been issued for his arrest in Broward County, Florida after the Sheriff’s office said Johnson violated several terms of his probation stemming from a physical altercation with his then-wife Evelyn Lozada. Miami Dolphins Waive Patrick Scales

Patrick Scales was waived by the Miami Dolphins today. An undrafted free agent from the 2011 class, he could have a hard time latching on and making anyones 53-man roster this fall. If anything look for him to be added to a teams practice squad for 2013, but even that is not a given.
