Baltimore Sun:
Cory Redding sat out his first game as a Raven, but the defensive end said he agreed with the coaches’ decision to miss Sunday’s 17-14 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“It’s a long season, and I want a long life,” said Redding, who is recovering from a concussion suffered in the team's 24-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 26. “I’ve got to consider my health. You’ve got to be smart with these things.”
Redding practiced on a limited basis last Thursday before failing to practice Friday. Redding said he’s unsure about his availability for Sunday’s contest against the Denver Broncos.
“I’m going to get another evaluation and see if I can pass the tests,” he said. “Then we’ll go from there.”
