It has only been one week since we learned that Manti Te’o was involved in a fake relationship with a woman who never existed. While the jury is still out on whether or not Te’o knew about it or as in on it, we do know is that there was a hoax going on. But a “Catfish” scam wasn’t just happening in South Bend, it was also impacting an NFL team as well. According to a report from NFL.com, four undisclosed members of the Washington Redskins were involved with an individual through social media, specifically Twitter. The alleged woman identified herself as “Sidney Ackerman,” and used photos of a porn actress named CJ Miles. She used the Twitter handle of @RedRidnH00d. Per NFL.com According to multiple sources, the conversations occurred mostly through Twitter’s direct messaging function.
