The Washington Redskins announced the signings of DE Frank Kearse, CB Courtney Bridget, S Ross Madison and CB Blake Sailors on Sunday.
However, the team also released: DL Chris Davenport, S Jose Gumbs, TE Kevin Perry and QB Tommy Rees to make room for these players.
Kearse, 25, is the most notable addition seeing as he is a former seventh-round pick of the Miami Dolphins back in 2011. He would later sign to the Panthers and Cowboys practice squads, but has seem limited action over the course of his NFL career.
Davenport and Rees were both signed as undrafted free agents earlier in the week, but it appears as though they weren’t all that impressive during workouts this week.
