Running back Reggie Bush is getting acclimated to his new home with the Detroit Lions, and feels he's primed for a great season and a return to being the dominant back he was in college.
After mediocre stints with the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins, Bush's lack of wear and tear might be a big factor in his success in Detroit.
“I really didn’t get beat up early in my career,” Bush said, via the Lions official team site. “The last two years in Miami was the first time I really experienced that 20 to 25 carry range. I feel good. I’ve really played injury free both seasons [in Miami].”
If he can stay healthy as he did as a Dolphin, he says fans should expect big things from him in 2013. “I still feel good,” he added. “I still feel like I have a lot to prove and a lot of football left in me and I’m just getting started.”
