Fresh off their first playoff appearance since 1999, the Buffalo Bills have a major hole to fill in the offseason. Likely to move on from quarterback Tyrod Taylor, this squad will need to find a long-term replacement under center.

The good news here is that Buffalo has a whole plethora of options. That includes the 2018 NFL Draft, where the team boasts four picks in the first two rounds.

According to Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting, teams around the NFL now believe that Buffalo has its eyes set on former UCLA standout Josh Rosen.

“They have aggressively scouting quarterbacks all year long. I think Josh Rosen is the apple of their eye,” Galko said, via WGR 550 in Buffalo. “It’ll be hard to go up and get him, but I think the tie between Buffalo and Giants GM David Gettleman kind of paints a picture of where they both might be thinking to go.”

As Galko notes, it might be hard for Buffalo to move up high enough to select Rosen. He’s right up there with USC’s Sam Darnold as the top two quarterbacks in the class. With the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants boasting those two picks, there’s a good chance both could go before Indianapolis selects No. 3 overall.

Buffalo owns the 21st and 22nd picks in the first round as well as picks No. 53 and 55 in the second round. A move up to the top two would likely cost the team all four selections and potentially even a player. Is this a trade Buffalo’s brass might be willing to make? Only time will tell on that front.
