Ronald Leary reportedly has signed a big money deal with the Broncos. Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos, as expected, are aggressively pursuing free agents to fill holes on their roster. Offensive guard Ronald Leary is reportedly heading to the Mile High City on quite a lucrative deal for a guy who recently was displaced in Dallas.

Leary was a starting guard for the Dallas Cowboys from 2013-14 before being benched when La’el Collins came on strong in 2015. This didn’t sit well with the veteran, who requested a trade but didn’t get one.

He was back starting for the Cowboys last year, appearing in 12 games and helping the team dominate on the ground.

A very strong player up front, Leary is a road-grader on running plays and a very adequate pass protector. He’ll immediately upgrade Denver’s offensive line, which needed help and is likely not done signing players to compete for starting jobs and depth.
