NFL Trade Rumors:
Roy Cummings of the Tampa Bay Tribune has confirmed with Nate Kaeding‘s agent, Rick Smith, that his client is signing with the Buccaneers.
Kaeding, 31, was reportedly telling people in Iowa that he had reached an agreement with the team.
Last year, he signed on with the Dolphins towards the end of the season and converted 8 of 9 attempts. He was known for being one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history, before injuries took their toll.
The Buccaneers have Connor Barth who they signed to a four-year deal worth $13.2 million contract last year. Apparently, they’re open to bringing some competition for training camp.
