PASS OFFENSE (C-)
Other than the first drive and the touchdown drive, there really wasn’t much else to say. A.J. Green had a solid game (6 catches, 87 yards, TD) and Jermaine Gresham made two nice catches but when your others receivers account for only reception and its tee off time on Andy Dalton in the third quarter, its not a good day. Andrew Whitworth had his worst game since taking over the left tackle job in ’09 including two penalties on passing downs. Green’s false start penalty to wipe out the Gresham touchdown was the beginning of Murphy’s Law.
RUN OFFENSE (B-)
Something that easily gets lost in a 28 point loss is there were some decent runs in the first half. Cedric Benson had a 14-yard gain in the second quarter and averaged 4.0 yards per carry. A.J. Green also had a nice run on a reverse and Bernard Scott had a 19-yard run up the middle in garbage time. A Kyle Cook holding penalty on a Benson run stalled a drive. Andre Smith was doing well in run...

Bengals Down 28-7 at Half
Some huge special teams blunders and questionable officiating have helped the Steelers jump out to a 28-7 halftime lead. The Bengals had a touchdown wiped off the board when an official called A.J. Green for a false start only after CB Ryan Clark pointed. The whistle was so late, TE Jermaine Gresham had caught the [...]

Sunday Prediction: No CB's, Weakened Pass Rush = Tough to Win
When Steelers have the ball:The DL needs to get to the college rapist and prevent those extended plays that Ben kills the Bengals with. Even though the Steelers have one of the worse OL's in the NFL, without Dunlap in the lineup again, it is difficult to slow down Ben.
Now that Ben will have the ability to extend plays more frequnetly, Brown and Sanders should cut up the weakened...
Keys to Victory: Bengals at Steelers
Big game for both teams today. Here is what the Steelers need to do to get the victory today.
Keys to Victory:
Throw, Throw and Throw some more: The Bengals are without their top 2 cornerbacks. Leon Hall is out for the year and Nate Clements is inactive today. That leaves Kelly Jennings and Pacman Jones. The Steelers should throw, throw and throw some more. That leaves...
NFL Monday Morning Ramblings: Should the Packers Pursue Perfection?
He made that look easy, didn’t he? With the game tied and under a minute left to play, Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers easily marched down the field to set up Mason Crosby’s game-winning 30-yard field goal in Green Bay’s 38-35 victory over a very game Giants team.
In the face of the Giants’ and their league-best pass rush (in my mind), Rodgers made it look easy...
Greene, Finley reward owners
What was that Vanessa Williams song?
It said something about "saving the best for last" or something like that.
The proverbial ship had long sailed on several would-be fantasy heroes as plug-and-play starters. In fact, two of the top performers in Week 13 probably spent Sunday afternoon vexing fantasy owners from "Bench" slots. It was a nice reminder of the...
Cincinatti Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers Fight For Share of AFC North Lead
By: Rich Bergeron
The AFC North is one of the tightest divisons in the NFL this season with three teams at the top with enough time and talent to snatch the lead. The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3) go into this week tied for the division’s top spot, but the Steelers will have to fight for it this week. If they lose to the 7-4 Bengals and the Ravens lose to the...
Steelers blowout Bengals
The Steelers dominated in all three phases to crush the Bengals 35-7 yesterday.
This is what you like to see in December: an offense that goes 4-for-4 in the red zone, a defense that gets to the quarterback and takes the ball away, and special teams that stop the opposing team from scoring while also scoring points themselves.
After an ugly win in Kansas City, you expected the...
