According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter via Evan Silva, the Dallas Cowboys are expected to have a serious interest in acquiring Chiefs cornerback Brandon Carr once he hits the free agent market on March 13th.

It’s clear that one of the most biggest needs the Cowboys have this offseason is improving their secondary.  It’s vital that they upgrade the back end of their defense in order to compete in their division alone with two explosive offenses like the Giants and Eagles.

Back in the day: Adam Schefter’s high school photo

File this one under: “You know it’s the offseason when…” Ever wondered what Adam Schefter looked like before the Blackberry’s and breaking NFL news? Back when he was just Adam Schefter, the teenager? Well, as odd as it is, your wish has come true. In all its glory, here is a vintage photo, snatched (by yours truly) from a promo video for John F. Kennedy High School in Bellmore...

Someone forgot to tell Stevie Johnson that he's about to be re-signed

News travels fast on Twitter. Sometimes faster than the people in those news stories themselves. Adam Schefter, who has more flies on more walls than anyone else in the NFL reporting game, tweeted this evening: "Buffalo Bills and WR Stevie Johnson are on the verge of a five-year contract that is likely to be completed in the next 24 hours." The usual influx of cCongratulatory...

Colts officially release Peyton Manning

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Indianapolis Colts have officially released future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning. Today is a very sad day, just to think how quickly Manning’s career has ended in Indy.  I know it was 14 years ago that he was drafted by the Colts, but it seems like just yesterday that he led the Colts to their first Super Bowl title. Manning...
