According to CSNPhilly.com, Eagles left guard Evan Mathis will miss OTA’s and possibly all of their mini camps, after undergoing ankle surgery. Eagles left guard Evan Mathis will miss the upcoming OTAs and possibly the rest of the summer minicamps after undergoing a minor surgical procedure on his ankle, two league sources said. The sources said Mathis is expected to be 100 percent well before the start of training camp at the NovaCare Complex in late July or early August. One source described the procedure as a “clean out” and said it wasn’t to repair any specific injury but just to address swelling and discomfort Mathis had been experiencing. It seems like the Eagles have the worst luck when it comes to the health of their offensive lineman.  Hopefully Mathis will be good to go for training camp.     Need NFL Tickets?

Matt Barkley won't be intimidated by competing against the big boys: ‘I’m not shy or nervous or scared or anything about that’
