Art Stapleton of The Record reports that the New York Giants are nearing a deal to re-sign CB Trumaine McBride.
According to Stapleton, the Giants are prepared to give McBride a two-year extension.
McBride, 28, was a pleasant surprise for New York in 2013 after CB Corey Webster went down with an injury. McBride accumulated two interceptions, eight pass deflections, held a 43.8 catching percentage rate and rated as the No. 24 overall cornerback in 2013, according to Pro Football Focus.
We’ll provide more information regarding McBride and the Giants as it becomes available.
