According to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter, the Houston Texans are going to attempt to trade WR/KR Jacoby Jones. Houston acquired Ohio State WR/KR DeVier Posey in the third-round of the 2012 NFL Draft on Friday. That move now makes Jones expendable. Schefter reports on Twitter, that Houston should start fielding offers for the veteran receiver on Saturday as the final four rounds of the draft open. Jones has two years remaining on his contract with the Houston Texans, scheduled to earn $3 million in 2012 and $4 million in 2013. Jones heads to free agency in 2014. Jones has had a difficult offseason after he fumbled a punt late in the Texans playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Houston Chronicle is reporting that the Texans are in discussions with the Cleveland Browns. A poosible trade between the clubs could bring QB Colt McCoy to Houston in exchange for WR Jacoby Jones.
