According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the New York Jets don’t  believe they have the money to re-sign tight end Dustin Keller this offseason. This makes a lot of sense since the Jets are over the cap by about $18 million I believe. Keller is a very good tight end that will get some nice offers on the open market that the Jets won’t be able to compete with.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Detroit Lions will not place the franchise tag on defensive end Cliff Avril again, which means he’ll hit the free agent market and likely sign somewhere else.
