Restricted FA Victor Cruz Drawing Lots of Interest
I can almost guarantee that there will be a mutiny in new York if the Giants let Victor Cruz walk away.
As farfetched as that scenario playing out may seem, Chris Wesseling of NFL.com, wrote that there is a lot of interest in the Pro Bowl receiver who burst onto the scene two seasons ago after the Giants signed him as an undrafted free agent.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport hears there...
Cornerback Cory Webster takes a big pay cut to stay in New York
According to Kimberly Jones of NFL Network, cornerback Cory Webster restructured his contract taking a pay cut to stay with the New York Giants. Webster's sub-par play in 2012 and his $7 million salary for 2013 was too rich for the Giants taste, and the fact the Giants are tight on salary-cap space. Webster had his salary reduced to $4 million in the final year of his contract...

With the New York Giants looking to move David Wilson into more of a feature role in their offense, they will now need someone else to return kicks in 2013. It was the first touchdown on a kickoff for the Giants since their season finale in December of 2007...
