NFL Trade Rumors:
Jason Cole is reports that NFL teams “plan to call” the Jacksonville Jaguars regarding the availability of veteran DE Jason Babin. Cole’s initially indicated that the team had already received calls, but a separate source informed him that no one has show interest up to this point. With the Jaguars starting off the season 0-6, it would make sense for them to field calls regarding almost any player. Jacksonville has already sent LT Eugene Monroe to the Ravens, and RB Maurice Jones-Drew has been rumored to available for weeks now. Injuries have already begun to build up for teams around the NFL, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see some interest in Babin. Babin, 33, has a guaranteed salary of $4.225 million, which will almost certainly impact the kind of draft compensation the Jaguars will be able to get for him. A conditional late-round pick would be my best guess. The post Report: NFL Teams “Plan To Call” The Jaguars Regarding DE Jason Babin appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.

Before they even played the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Gus Bradley and the Jacksonville Jaguars announced they are willing to trade running back Maurice Jones-Drew for the right price. He's far and away the team's best player, so you have to imagine the Jag's are approaching the sitauation much like the Browns did with Trent Richardson. The only difference from Richardson...
Like the boss that he is, Jaxson DeVille paid up his bet to Denver's mascot Miles by rocking a pink thong and bra, and donating $1,000 to breast cancer awareness.
After denying that they were interested in trading him for months, the Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly open to moving running back Maurice Jones-Drew in the right deal.
Pro Football Talk is reporting that Jones-Drew is unlikely to be back with the team next year anyway as his contract expires following this season. Given that any team that acquires him will essentially be getting...
It wasn't just another double-digit loss for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Nope, this looked and felt much different - significantly better - for players and coaches.
The Jaguars (0-6) dropped their 11th consecutive game Sunday, a 35-19 loss at unbeaten Denver. Despite being 27-point underdogs, the Jaguars used three turnovers and some early defensive pressure to make it a tight...
Now that it appears Maurice Jones-Drew may be playing the final 10 games of his career in teal and black, the team may not be opposed to trading the star running back. But the offer would have to be a pretty good one if the Jaguars are going to part ways with one of the more popular players to ever put on a Jacksonville jersey.A report from Mike Florio and Pro Football Talk claims...
The Jaguars were only a four-touchdown underdog to the Broncos on Sunday, but that of course didn't mean that Jaxson De Ville would back down from his bet.
Maybe Jaxson De Ville, the Jaguars' mascot, should have asked for a few points. Denver won 35-19 but at least covered the biggest point spread in NFL history.
Still, a bet is a bet. And Jaxson De Ville paid off late...
Jaguars HC Gus Bradley told reporters on Monday that Chad Henne will get the start against the Chargers in Week 7, per John Oehser.
Bradley added that Blaine Gabbert still is not ready to return from his hamstring injury, but added that he could throw on the side in practice.
Henne was 27-of-42 for 303 yards and two interceptions in Sunday’s loss to the Broncos. Overall, Henne...
Jaxson DeVille is kind of a weird dude.
The Jacksonville Jaguars mascot lost yet another bet this past weekend, forcing him to subject himself to some more public humiliation. Jaxson got to avoid any physical harm this time around — he wasn’t so lucky two weeks ago — but he did have to pose in a pink bra following the Jags’ loss to the heavily favored Broncos on Sunday.
Fantasy owners were discouraged this week that the wide receiver of the Jacksonville Jaguars Cecil Shorts III suffered an injury that sat him out the entire game against the Denver Broncos.
Shorts left the game on the Jaguars first possession with an apparent shoulder sprain. Yet, many fans and fantasy owners remained hopeful as the Jaguars Twitter account listed Shorts as...
Jaguars G.M. David Caldwell has said he won’t trade running back Maurice Jones-Drew. It’s possible that the rest of that statement should be “for a bowl of soup and an ugly hat.”
Per a league source a deal would indeed be done at the right price.
In many respects that’s obvious. Any player could in theory be traded if a big enough package is offered.
Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts has a sprained SC joint in his shoulder, according to John Oehser of Jaguars.com.Fantasy Spin:Shorts hasn't been ruled out for Week 7 against the Chargers but his status is in question. He'll likely be a late-week or game-time decision.
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert is still weeks away from returning and Chad Henne will get the start against the San Diego Chargers.

Head coach Gus Bradley said, via the team’s official website “We’re going with Chad this...
Justin Blackmon has had his battles with alcohol related issues. Three incidents in three years almost cost him his spot with the Jacksonville Jaguars. There was a point before the season when the team considered cutting him and saving the 10 million dollars left on his four-year contract. After his first two games back from suspension, I believe the Jaguars’ management are...

Clay Mathews Used to Have that Mark Sanchez Look
DENVER (AP) -- For an uncomfortably long time Sunday, it was a matter of "if" for Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, not "how many."
Their supposedly lopsided matchup against the winless Jacksonville Jaguars turned into quite a tussle for much of a surreal afternoon. Not until Knowshon Moreno ran for his third touchdown did the Broncos have any sense of security...
