The Philadelphia Eagles sputtered to a disappointing 4-12 record last season, and at one point, endured an eight-game losing skid. A lack of team chemistry was rumored to be one of the causes for the poor showing. Well, this story from ESPN certainly seems to support that claim.According to WIP Radio's Hollis Thomas, who played for the Eagles from 1996 to 2005, defensive back Nnamdi Asomugha frequently ate lunch in his car during team practices last season instead of dining with his teammates. Thomas cited unnamed sources who told him the reason for Asomugha's anti-social behavior was to grab a little "me time" during the day.Asomugha signed a five-year, $60 million contract with Philadelphia in 2011. The team has asked the 31-year-old to restructure his contract and they have threatened to release him if he doesn't oblige. The former California Bear played in every game for the Eagles in 2012, tallying 47 tackles, one interception, and 12 pass deflections.Asomugha, a three-time Pro Bowler, was one of the players the franchise brought in to assemble the self proclaimed "Dream Team." However, Philly has failed to live up to that moniker after going 12-20 over the past two years. The two sides reportedly met last Friday in Indianapolis to negotiate a new deal.Via ESPN

  • I guess there's not much to talk about in Philly since the top blog seems to be where Nnambi chose to have his lunch. You guys need to get a life. SMH
