Report: Pennington Will Not Play On Sunday

The Star Ledger reported this morning that Chad Pennington will not play on Sunday and will be replaced by Kellen Clemens at QB. Of course, this report was by three people who spoke on condition of anonymity but are apparently very close to the medical situation. My hunch is the Star Ledger is correct and it's only a matter of time before the announcement is made officially. Mangini isn't dumb (he's a genius, remember) ~ he won't tip his hand to the Ravens any sooner than he has to. My guess is Chad will even be in uniform on Sunday, he'll just never see any action. Maybe Mangenius will pull a Bill Belichick and have Pennington in the opening huddle and then at the very last minute, sneak Clemens in for the play. Belichick did that last weekend with Randy Moss on the very first play. 9 catches and 183 yards later, I guess it's worth a shot.
