The New York Jets season is over. They will presumably part ways with quarterback Tim Tebow.  

With both of those statements in mind, you would think that the subject of their pairing would begin to die down.

Jets owner Woody Johnson does not answer to anyone.

He apparently felt the need to discuss Tebow with GM candidates when the team was looking for one.
