The Jets currently have six players ranked in the top five at their respective positions for the Pro Bowl voting, which ends December 19. Of the six, two are in the lead, Darrelle Revis, naturally, and Joe McKnight, a far cry from puking in training camp!
There are four other Jets in contention which includes John Connor (Ranked 5th), D’Brickashaw Ferguson (Ranked 4th), Nick Mangold (Ranked 2nd) and Nick Bellore (Ranked 5th).
Ultimately, it’s a popularity contest but, it’s good to see some voters do recognize the talent the Jets have across the board. Mangold is a bit of a surprise at number two but his injury during the beginning of the season likely dropped his stock so to speak. Kudos to undrafted rookie Nick Bellore for making the top five. Bellore has been an excellent addition to the special teams unit and has carved a niche for himself in New York.
