Things this season have not gone the Jets’ way in any form. They’re 4-7 and are on the outside looking in on the playoff race in the AFC. The Jets would need to go perfect and get help to have any chance of making the playoffs as one of the wildcard teams. Not looking good, right? Darrelle Revis was asked what the Jets need to do to try to make a playoff push: “Guys just need to shut up.” Revis said this Saturday, according to Kimberly Martin of Newsday. And he went on: “Quit talking crazy to the media, especially involving your teammates. I think that’s the worst, because when you do that, that’s when it really gets divided. Because you don’t know if you can trust your other teammate.” The Jets do have a favorable schedule down the stretch, but they just seem to find ways to lose games, whether it be on offense or defense. If I were a betting man, which I am, I would bet the fort that the Jets won’t sniff the playoffs. The post Revis to Jets: “Shut up” appeared first on New York Sports Kings.
