Jets coach Rex Ryan went way back today in complimenting the Bills' defensive front, particularly rookie defensive lineman Marcell Dareus.
Said Ryan: "Dareus reminds me ... the way he's playing and the way Big Wiggle as I used to call him is playing - Dwan Edwards - they remind me of Ron McDole and Tom Sestak, the No. 70 that used to play in the AFL days."
The Jets rushed for 549 yards on the Bills in two games last year. Would he settle for 200 on Sunday?
"I'll definitely settle for that," Ryan said. "We know it's going to be a big difference. I think the young man from Alabama has mace a huge difference for that football team."
Rex knows about the '60s Bills. His father, Buddy, was defensive coordinator at the University of Buffalo back in 1964. Buddy made the jump to pro football in 1968 when he joined the staff of the New York Jets under coach Weeb Ewbank.

Joe Namath and Rex Ryan are the Bickersons.
5) Rex Ryan: I don't hate Rex Ryan as much as a lot of people do. Yes, he's a loudmouth, but honestly, I kind of find that refreshing. However, he's a little too much sometimes. The things that come out of his mouth about declaring Super Bowl titles multiple times come off as being the Boy who cries wolf too often . How about when he dresses up for press conferences...

Now Joe Namath is making it personal.
The former Jets quarterback fired another shot at coach Rex Ryan on his weekly Monday appearance on ESPN 1050 Radio. Namath was told that Ryan was spotted during the bye week wearing the Super Bowl III winner’s jersey.
“I'm just stunned...
There may not be a coach Bill Belichick dislikes more than Rex Ryan, a guy who regularly takes shots at the Patriots' coach in his unceasing quest to beat his AFC East counterpart.
The Jets got a pretty big gift from the Steelers during their bye week.
By beating up the Patriots at Heinz Field, the Steelers gave the Jets a shot at vaulting themselves back into the race for the AFC East crown over the next two weeks.
It also helped that the Steelers made the Patriots' defense look about as vulnerable as a newborn gazelle in the Serengeti, although we...
