After being benched in Sunday’s 34-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans, Cowboys’ right guard Leonard Davis’ starting role was thought to be in jeopardy. Backup Montrae Holland played serviceably in Davis’ absence, and only came out when he suffered an eye injury--and this only fueled the thought that Davis could lose the starting gig.According to head coach Wade Phillips, however, that’s not the case. Phillips said Monday that he viewed Davis’ performance in the first half of Sunday’s game as little more than an aberration."He's a Pro Bowl player, that's what I see," Phillips said, per the Dallas Morning News.
