A couple of months after signing his 5-year, 43.5 million contract, the Texans' Arian Foster said his life has not changed dramatically despite the new found wealth. That is not surprising given that Foster appears well grounded and is often more interested in philosophical issues that the latest Ferrari model. "I haven't bought anything yet, really," said Foster. "Just (some clothes) but I haven't bought anything yet. It's not about what you make, it's about what you keep." Foster spoke during his football camp at Pearland High School this weekend, where over 300 kids attended to get pointers from the two-time Pro Bowler. "It's just fun to bring joy to these kids' faces," Foster said. "In this world today there's not a lot to smile about so you find anything you can and I'm just glad I could be a part of that. I didn't get a chance to go to any kind of camp when I was a kid." Foster said he watched all of the Texans' off-season moves from a distance and despite the turnover in personnel, he's adjusted to the fact that change is part of the NFL. Foster said he was especially close to wide receiver Jacoby Jones, released last week by the team. "He was one of my better friends on the team. He was like one of my brothers on the team," Foster said. "It hurts to see him go but he's going to have another opportunity in this league without a doubt. He's a very talented player. Both sides felt they needed to split ways and that's ok. "I'm going to miss him. I know his mother and his family well." Foster said he sees fans' expectations for the upcoming season given what the team accomplished last year. "Expectations are always high but you can see it in the city," said Foster. "You see how much support I get for this camp. The buzz resonates through the city and you just feel fortunate to be a part of that. Part of my job is to work as hard as I can to live up to those expectations." But Foster refused to get into any predictions: "Each season has a new identity because you have new players. You have to build a new chemistry each year. We'll see."
