According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New Orleans Saints will ask both linebacker Jonathan Vilma and defensive end Will Smith to restructure their contracts.
The Saints are currently $16 million over the cap. Smith’s cap number is over $14 million and Vilma’s is over $8 million for the 2013 season.
