New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan admits he was shocked that the Cowboys fired him after only one season. “Oh yeah, look, I was a little shocked,” Ryan said, per ESPNDallas.com. “I knew they had to do something after an 8-8 season. They choose me to be the guy, sure.” I was also shocked.  I thought Ryan did a pretty good job for his first season with a new team.  I think Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones made a mistake.  I would have giver Ryan at least one more season.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();
