PLAYERS: Rob Ryan
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys
Those Ryan brothers can be a feisty bunch when they get agitated. The Dallas Cowboys beat the Giants on opening night this year, and Rob Ryan feels like the Giants blamed that loss on everything accept the good game the Cowboys played. Rob Ryan is seething mad about the lack of respect, and according to the New York Post, he thinks it’s “bull sh*t.” “I understand we played the Giants before and the only reason we stopped them was their lack of execution, that it had nothing to do with our players or our scheme,” Ryan said yesterday during his weekly media session, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “That’s been well documented. That was said. “They give a lot of credit where credit is due, and it’s just because of their lack of execution. We got the message, we understand that. That’ll be great. We’re looking forward to that challenge. They’re the Super Bowl champs. We’ve given them nothing but respect. They’ve hung a million yards up on us before. Then when we played them

  • Get over yourself Robby boy, the Giants did shoot themselves in the foot in the first game of the season. The Cowboys played well, but had the Giants played the kind of mistake free football they are playing lately, then today would have been a series sweep. But don't feel bad, your brothers a worse coach than you are.

Giants sat back and let Cowboys implode

The Cowboys drop another game at home against the Giants in a turnover bonanza spooktacular. The Cowboys suck, straightup and now drop to 3-4 and the forecast for the remainder of the season looks bleak. The guys are the laughing stock of the league, no one plays as sloppy and stupid as the Cowboys right now. I don’t even know how we have won 3 games. Here’s what I do know: ...

At 3-4, Cowboys Longshot for Playoffs

The Cowboys and playoffs don’t even belong in the same sentence, and the reality is the Cowboys playoff hopes are pretty much dead. Outside of week 1, the Cowboys have squeaked by mediocre teams and lost some really poor games. You really do not know what team is going to show up. One thing I do know is that since the Super Bowl in 2000, there has only been one team to make the...

Cowboys Stadium has become a home away from home for New York Giants

Since the grand opening of Jerry Jones’ new home for his Dallas Cowboys, the New York Football Giants have become not only quite acclimated, but very comfortable there. On the stadium’s debut September 20, 2009, in front of a record crowd (105,121) on Sunday Night Football, the Giants officially broke ground on their “second stadium.” Since, Big Blue is undefeated there at...

10 Things I Hate About You: Dallas Cowboys Edition

The Cowboys are 3-4. In my mind, they should be 6-1. The only game they really just got beaten was the Chicago game. They should have beaten Seattle. They should have beaten Baltimore. And they most certainly, despite falling down 23-0 midway though the 2nd quarter, should have beaten the Giants today. Without further ado, [...] Related posts: Cowboys Overcome Mistakes to Beat Redskins...

Cowboys LB Connor leaves with neck strain

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Cowboys linebacker Dan Connor never returned after halftime of Sunday's game against the New York Giants because of a neck strain. Connor, who started in place of injured leading tackler Sean Lee, got hurt early in the second quarter. He remained down on the ground at the end of a play when the Giants fumbled. The Cowboys said Connor was out of the...

Could the Bucs make a trade for Cowboys’ Jenkins?

About half way through the 2012 season, we know where the Buccaneers rank in pass defense. If you don’t, they are 31st. That is second to last in the league in defending the pass. With the league postponing the NFL trade deadline until Thursday afternoon and the possibility of being without another cornerback, will Tampa Bay make a move to boost their secondary? It is being reported...

Five thoughts on Cowboys' loss to Giants

ARLINGTON, Texas The Cowboys were down 23-0 and rallied to score 24 unanswered. But it was not enough, losing to the New York Giants 29-24. Here are my five thoughts. 1. It's amazing how the Cowboys can toy with their fan base. One minute they look like the worst team in the league and the next minute they make you think they're a playoff contender. While Sunday's...

Critical mistakes lead to Cowboys' loss

ARLINGTON When the final frenetic 40 seconds were done here and replays showed Dez Bryant's fingertips to have landed out of bounds and what would have been a game-winning touchdown for the Cowboys overturned, all that was left was this sense we had seen all of this before. Not so much the particulars of Giants 29-23 victory, as the ending. Whenever these two teams have playeddating...

Fans bash Cowboys’ Tony Romo on Twitter during game with Giants

Fans bashed Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on Twitter thanks to his four interceptions against the New York Giants on Sunday. The Giants beat the Cowboys 29-24. In fact, the Giants jumped to a 23-0 lead and that drove Dallas fans crazy. The Dallas Morning News collected a few hysterical tweets as the Cowboys were imploding:

Week 8 Injury Report NY Giants vs Dallas Cowboys

TweetThe week 8 injury report for the game between the NY Giants and Dallas Cowboys has a serious question mark for Big Blue. The list isn't long but a key player is in limbo 4 hours before kickoff. Kenny Phillips, Rocky Bernard and Jacquian Williams are definitely ruled out. Hakeem Nicks has been moved from questionable to probable as has Center David Baas. Ahmad Bradshaw however is...
