Some folks seem to be put off by Dez Bryant’s occasional emotional outbursts--which can be seen on the Cowboys’ sidelines from time to time--but none of them are members of the Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Jason Garrett has said he’s fine with the emotion Bryant brings to the field (and sideline), a sentiment that was echoed recently by quarterback Tony Romo, who said that Bryant is emotional, but never negative. "Dez is great,'' Romo said, per the Dallas Morning News. "His emotion, there is never a negative emotion that comes from it. It's just positive consistently. "He's just a kid who loves playing the game. He's passionate. But there is never any malice or anything negative involved. Cameras can catch whatever they want, he is never mean to another person or anything like that. He just wants to win and he's excited about being out there playing. "We're lucky to have him.'' Some have compared Bryant to another receiver wh...

Bryant's sideline behavior becoming distraction

With all the noise surrounding Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, can you imagine what it will be like if he ever accomplishes something. If Bryant had been drafted by, say, the Seattle Seahawks, no one would be writing national columns about his sideline decorum. Playing for the Cowboys provides some players with a bigger stage than they deserve. Bryant was supposed to be...

Tony Romo Has Been Pretty Good In November

For the many Dallas Cowboys fans that are in dire need of some good news following that vicious beat-down last week, we bring you this: It is now November. Tony Romo has been really, really good in November. In fact, he has a career record of 15-2 as a starter in the month of November. So, you know, there’s that. Romo is coming off a highly uncharacteristic lag in production...

Turn Tony Loose: Romo's Gotta Go Deep

The Cowboys have a pretty steady diet of creampuffs on the slate over the next few weeks, something that is keeping confidence in the team afloat despite Sunday night's disaster. It should be seen as more than just a chance to win some games against bad teams, though. It should also be seen as a chance to get Tony Romo back to being the Tony Romo that the Cowboys will need...

Romo on Hawks: “It doesn’t look like a 2-5 ball club when you watch the tape.”

We had an opportunity to talk to Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Tony Romo and head coach Jason Garrett. And as you would expect, both come from the Lou Holtz media relations school when addressing an opponent. When asked about this week’s opponent, both gushed about the Seattle Seahawks like they were playing the 1986 Chicago Bears Super Bowl team. “As soon as you start...

Week 9 NFL: Can the Seahawks finally win in Dallas?

Our man on the Seattle Seahawks beat Brandon Choate weighs in on this week's battle versus the Dallas Cowboys. If the Seahawks can keep constant pressure on Tomy Romo while containing Dez Bryant and Laurent Robinson, they should be in line for a much needed victory.

NFL Week Nine Game Preview- New York Jets at Buffalo Bills

On paper, this game appears to be a mismatch. One team is 5th in the NFL rushing the ball and the other team is 25th against the run so the New York Jets should blow out the Buffalo Bills? No, the Bills are the team ranked fifth in the NFL running the ball and are currently sitting atop the AFC East, a half-game ahead of the New England Patriots while the Jets are the...
