Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is putting his money where his mouth is.
Romo is a spokesperson for the "Miracle of the Million" charity, having shot several promos for the organization over the last year.
On Monday, Romo stepped up and did what he's asked many to do during these spots.
Romo announced he is donating 1 million over the next three years to the organization on Monday during a breadfast with the leader of the organization, Dr. Tony Evans, Dallas radio station 90.9-KCBI-FM reported on Tuesday.
The program was started by Evans, pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, when a principle of a Dallas-area high school contacted him about the violence in his school. The program works as an "adopt-a-school" system where area churches help troubled schools.
